Who needs Hormone Test Kits?
A large range of the population chooses, or has a need to alter their hormone levels due to health, lifestyle, identity, or capability. From older adults boosting their testosterone or estrogen for improved health and vitality, to fitness enthusiasts and bodybuilders trying to increase their capacity, and members of the trans community in their pursuit of feeling at home inside themselves—the need for hormone supplementation is broad reaching and diverse.
Whether due to cost, availability, or other means of inaccessibility, many of these individuals are forced to purchase hormones and hormone inhibitors from black or gray market sources. What are being sold as legitimate substances are often found to be entirely ineffective, or even cut with dangerous alternatives and additives.
Hormone Testing Kits from Transparency
We have begun the process of developing Hormone Test Kits to provide the safety and awareness within these spaces, and give individuals the ability to identify what they are planning to take. We have been acquiring and reviewing the effectiveness of gray and black market hormones, and are analyzing current and potential testing methods to create the best possible test kits for these communities.
